With this version of the ENOs receiver, it is possible to remove the screen from the housing (yellow case), making it easier to walk around with it on the boat, searching for the missing diver.
A Bluetooth connection between the hardware in the yellow portable case and the mobile screen makes sure the screen receives the needed data.
The receiving range is up to 60 meters – long enough even for huge liveaboards.
When the diver is “only” a few hundreds meters away from the dive boat , the portable screen can even be carried in the Zodiac to pick up the missing diver!
In case of long distances (more than 500m) it is recommend to fix the mobile screen in the yellow case and to go out with the complete ENOS®-Receiver, making sure the position of the diver is updated in real time.
This radio beacon is NOT an EPIRB/PLB and does not have the same functionalities. The emergency signal sent by this device, even if received by a third party, does not guarantee the activation of the rescue chain or SAR services.
